Harmony Comes to Hilliard: New Performance/Rehearsal Space Available

The Hilliard space formerly known as the Tripleforce Arts Center is under new management as of this past Tuesday, and the hard-working space will be renamed the Harmony Artistic Center.

Harmony Artistic Center Inc. is being registered to operate the Center. Several members of Bread and Circus Theatre Company (instrumental in helping to facilitate the transition and long time residents of the Tripleforce space) will serve on the new board of directors.

Harmony is already developing tenancy agreements with arts groups from all over the area. Spokesperson Howard Carpenter wants to get the word out to the Columbus area theatre community, “We will have performance space, rehearsal space, etc. available to rent at rates significantly lower than downtown, including rates from hourly to monthly to what-have-you. The area is safe, secure, fully handicapped-accessible, modern, clean, and comfortable with plenty of free parking.” Currently, the space includes a large studio and two smaller studios. Plans to add two additional multipurpose studios within the facility are already in the works. The studios are suitable for all performing arts: theatre, dance, music, and more.

Carpenter promises that “early birds get the best dates and rates.” Interested parties should contact Mimi Ninde, facility manager, at 614-270-9956 now. More details to come.
